Sound In Time is the third in a series of solo guitar albums and a reunion of sorts with the steel string guitar after 40 years. It features 16 new compositions all performed with fingers on 7 strings. I offer kudos to Irish guitar luthier Alistair Hay (Emerald Guitars) for building an inspired and inspiring new instrument, to Jeff Bond for his technical assistance mixing and mastering the tunes, and to Drew Putterman for his unique album art that includes my hand copied music. This album is dedicated to the late Joe Diorio… guitar master, mentor, and friend… who left us this past winter in the lunar month of Shevat, 5782. Finally I want to express a note of gratitude to my wife and life partner, to our children, and to our children’s children for all of their love, kindness, and support. June, 2022
